Hello,
I just traded in my 2005 Tahoe for a 2011 and of course once driving it home without the radio on, I thought I heard an intermittent noise coming from the front end. It's more apparent at higher speeds, but still there when cruising around streets as well. It's kind of hard to describe, but it sounds like it could be from the tires, but also could be from the engine. Just a constant but intermittent almost revving noise. The intermittent noise is about every second, maybe slightly less. It would be too slow to be the tire turning over every time. The other thing is that I can slightly feel the vibration on the gas pedal. It's barely noticeable with the radio on, but without it it's pretty apparent. I'm going to take it back to the dealership where I bought it and have them check it out, but I'm just curious if anyone can offer up any possible causes? The tires are brand new and the truck has 32,000 miles on it and otherwise seems to be in perfect condition. Of course the dealership said it checked out perfect in their testing, but unless you took it out on the highway you probably wouldn't notice this noise.
Thanks!

Update: I've done a ton of searching on the net to try and diagnose this problem but with no luck. I did think of perhaps a better way to describe the noise/vibration. It's kind of a pulsating noise/vibration and you can feel it most in the gas pedal and maybe every so slightly in the steering wheel and the sound is kind of a hum. Hopefully that might help someone give me some insight. I'm definitely taking it back to the dealership that I bought it from as it's under warranty, but just really curious to find others that have had this issue and hoping it's nothing major.
