It seems like my auto temp adjustment is a little off. I have to have it set at 80 degrees just to keep the car from freezing....and I know the temp in the cabin isn't 80 degrees. One thing I noticed is that the little black dome shaped piece on the front of my dash under my windshield is missing....could that cause the temp to be off? Is that where the temperature is taken at??

that little dome on your dash is the auto headlights.

your temp sensor is above your head.

The sensor has a fan in it that pulls the air over the sensor if this has stoped working it could cause it. If you have the tri zone climate control you can test this out by trying the back controls and see how they regulate the temp because it is a seperate sensor from the front farther back on the headliner.

Good idea, I tried it out and the temp seems to be the same out of the driver, passenger, and rear....maybe I'm just imagining things
