Chrome Mirror Caps

Does anyone where i can purchase Chrome mirror caps? Ive seen alot on ebay but i dont want the abs plastic stuff. I want the real thing. Thanks.

Even the OEM is ABS that is plated. I'm not sure anyone is making a metal version

I guess what i meant was...I dont like i idea of the whole 3M adhesive over the OEM cover. Ive seen it in pictures and it looks good im not sure. I think i jus need to see one in person.

Cant really see your hoes pic but dont you have one? If so, is that OEM chrome lower cover or you bought it some where else?

That's my same question, I want to put the chrome on the bottom of my mirrors to. Can you tell that they were ad ons? Do they fit right in or stick out because they are stuck on over the other part. The Escalades come stock with the chrome lowers, are those also stuck on with 3M or is the lower part just chromed with no stuck on tape?

The lowers are a different subject.

The Caddy has the chrome incorporated and the upper and MORE is painted. It is a whole different setup. You can buy Caddy mirror Assemblies but you will have to paint more that just the upper portion. The paint wraps around. So look for your exact color and don't count on just swapping uppers. It also has a different profile at the back because it is designed to be used with the window surrounds.



I have the "covers" or the 3M stuff. The black is kinda 3 dimensional and the chrome is molded to fit over this and looks just right against the painted portion. It does NOT stick out but you will still see black as it does not cover all of the lower portion. I am very happy with the look of the chrome cover with the painted uppers.

i got mine from Stylin Concepts but had them painted to match, i did a mock look with them and it was just to much for me, so i decided to paint them along with matching smooth rear pillars.
