Chev fan coming home

Hi all. I was just looking at grabbing a 2002 tahoe for myself and was checking what to look for and came across this forum. A little background first...My first car was a 1983 Chev malibu, 305, plush interior, just a sweet car. I was hooked. Traded it for a chevette lol ( malibu smoked like a freighttrain when started) and drove that beast like a stolen car and it couldnt be beat. Went right into 3 caprices, a celebrity, 2 silverados, 2 luminas, and then a funny thing happened. I bought a jeep cherokee,a 1996, which was a fine vehicle, but that was the start of my stray.I ran through several fords and a dodge or 2, a vw, and a mazda. Fast forward...I just sold a 2006 dodge ram and replaced it with a 2008 Tahoe Z71 with 70000kms. Now I am looking at an older one for myself for now( wife has the 08). looking for some input in the forums on the 2002 and will help in any way i can on info on the 08.
