What's up everybody? I recently had my exhaust changed from a 50 series flowmaster to a Cherry Bomb Vortex. The normal set-up - 2 into one and out to 2. I can definitely notice the difference in power. The sound is awesome. At cruising speed it's quiet enough where it's not annoying, but when you get on it you definitely hear it. I would absolutely recommend this exhaust.
Also, a member had posted that he was considering a flowmaster and having it dump right after the muffler. I had this set-up and it was very loud inside my yukon... very annoying on long trips.

I put a thrush glaspac on my Durango. Sounded awesome. Little bit of a drone inside, but nothing my stereo couldn't drown out. May do the same for the hoe when it's exhaust rusts out.

Thrush, I remember those they still making them??

Had a pair of them on an old 74 pick up with 3 on the tree. Sounded good for the first month or so until the glass burned out of them. Could hear dad coming home from 4 miles away.

Yep. Got it at Advanced Auto Parts. I wanted to hear my vehicle and for less than $30, I got to.

I don't hear any interior drone, but when I get on the throttle you definitely hear it. This is the Cherry Bomb Vortex...NOT GLASSPACKS. Sound is different. This weekend is supposed to be nice, I'll try and take some pics and put on a sound clip. Not real good with the computer so please be patient.

acording to the cherry bomb web page... the vortex is still a glass pack, just much sweeter. im not clowning man, i think it will be rad! cant wait to hear it

I just went on the Cherry Bomb web page and now I am embarassed, but I am much happier now that I saw the flow rate is just under a straight pipe. Thanks Tybardy for the punch in the balls. lol

Ok Bear ; serious question here. I had a flowmaster for a short time and had to change it out. The drone was bad enough that I couldn't hear my daughter trying to tell me that the noise had given her a headache and anything over a half hour ride brought her to tears. Is the vortex farly quiet in the cabin while crusing 50 -70 mph. Could you be able to hear a little voice sitting in the back over top of the muffler talking to you . Short burst like accelerating or playing in the snow (donuts , powerslides ect.) are ok they can be loud!!! But its the cruise drone that I have a problem with.

Absolutely quiet...I have too kids. My daughter is going to be 2 and my son is three weeks old. I take the highway to work all the time, with the flowmaster it was very annoying. So much better now.

Thats great to hear. (so to speak) I've looked at then a few times but not wanting to go through the flowmaster swap expense type thing again I was leary. No one around here has run one yet to get an idea of what it sounded like.
