The light is on, and I had my mechanic scan it. A pin hole in emissions somewhere. He did not have a smoke machine to find it, so he reset my light.
again
Its on again, and I wondered if there is a way I can turn the light off until I get it to the dealer to get checked?

You can usually go to Autozone,Advance Auto and have them scan it and clear it.

From what I hear autozone no longer loans out the scanner, mechanics threatened to boycot them

Thanks guys. I didnt get a chance to do this yet, but did fuel up, and it went off afterwords, so maybe i need a new gas cap gasket, or my wife left the cap a little loose. I know it did come on for the emission leak before so i figured that is what it was. i'll buy one of those scanners. Thanks for all of your help.
