I'm interested in the center console for the second row captain's seats. Anyone have this that can show me some pics and tell me a good place to look for one?

U just installed it in my 08 Denali. It fits well and does not rattle. It is also removable. I purchased it from gmpartsdirect.com. It was about $296.00. The installation requires some minor cutting of the rear seat bracket covers but this is easily done with a jig saw.

Can you explain about the "Cutting" in a bit more detail? I am unsure of what you are talking about. Pics would be great!

Also, will a Playstation or other gaming console fit inside of the opening?

Thanks!!

The console storage area measures 9"x8"x6"deep. It easily stores both headphones and the remote. I doubt if a Playstation will fit. It is styled after the front console with 2 cup holders in front and a small storage area for 3rd seat passengers. It does not have any wood trim like the front Denali console. The rear 2 seat bracket covers under each captains shair need to be slightly notched out to accomodate the console brackets. A template is provided.. The console unlatches for removal if not desired. The GM Accessories Zone has a clear picture of it.

Would it be possible to cut out the bottom of it to fit a playstation? I don't care about modifying it. Also, insted of using the brackets, do you think there is enough surface area on the bottom to use velcro to secure it to the carpet?

Sorry for all of the questions, I just want to plan as well as I can.

No, the latching mechanism is on the bottom. It cannot be cut out. Also, velcro would never secure the console well enough. If you stopped too fast the console would end up in the front seat area. The jig saw notch is very easily done.

I Really Think I like The GM version! Is there anything i have to do to make it fit? I'd rather do without that cut up my vehicle!

I will be picking one up as soon as I can get my hands on one. I will modify the hell out of it to make it fit. I would rather cut up a $300.00 part than a $53,000 vehicle.

I'll let you know how it goes as soon as I can, though I have to admit it will be a while as I am purchasing a 1995 Z28 this weekend and I suspect that it will take up all of my time in the near future!!

the only part you have to cut is the rear seat bracket cover. If you ruin it it can be easily replaced. The cut is really no big deal.

Received mine today but no installation instructions and the vendor doesn't have them. Anybody have the installation guide?
