Center Console

Anyone know where I can buy a center console for an 07 Tahoe? I got the 60/40 bench in the front and I want to get rid of the center seat so I can eventually put a JL steathbox there. The console should be able to mount right on correct?

I thought I had seen a thread about this a while back but I can't seem to find it. Thanks in advance.

I found mine on ebay. It is a direct fit, but the sockets you need are difficult to impossible to find. I found sockets for the rear 2 bolts, but the front ones, I couldn't ever find a socket that fit it. I had to use vice grips to get them off. If you find one let me know where you got it.

Just another option, JL makes a stealthbox for the seat cushion now as well.

Lucky you. I've been looking on ebay for a while now and cant find one.

For those bolts though can't you just get the bolts from the stealership? Probably cost you an arm for them though.

I thought about the seat cushion stealthbox as well but I don't like having the open legroom where the middle passenger would sit. That's just me though.

By the way Gambler I saw your setup and it looks good. Would i be losing all that room underneath the armrest as well if I get a center console and put in the stealthbox or is it just because yours is custom?

I pulled my seats off and put back on using regular sockets. I know that they are inverted torx-type, but a stadard socket will do the trick without harm.... A buddy of mine works for a Chevy/Cadillac dealer, and thats what most of the guys do in the shop.

I also got my console off of ebay and the fit was perfect. I haven't got around to the stealthbox mod but I think the stealthbox fits underneath the forward section of the console - there's plenty of room under there.

I just saw this console on Ebay in the past week but now can't find it for you. Maybe it sold or expired. I believe it was in a tan color though so I don't know if that is good. Plenty of second row consoles on there now but no front ones. If your patient .. Keep looking. Joe

Hey I just saw this on ebay....what do you think?

The only thing is that I don't see the front extension for it and that is has the rear audio controls. Can I use the controls? I currently have an LS with an AVIC D3 in it.

With the stealthbox, you will not lose the storage space. My sub is way bigger than the stealthbox one, which is why I had to put it there. You will not be able to use the rear controls. Mine didn't even come with them, so I just have a hole there now. I've been trying to come up with some clever use of that space.

I wonder if I can take out the rear controls and put in a radio kit for another vehicle and use that as a little storage like for sunglasses for rear passengers or something similar.

I'll contact the seller and see if they have the front extension if not I'm gonna have to price it with GM.
