Center Console Lid Hinge Broken

I'm doing a bunch of clean up and repair trying to help someone sell their 2003 Tahoe. One of the things wrong with it is the center console lid hinge is broken on the lid side. I wanna go hit the UPullandPay but want to know what other years/models will swap in. FWIW, the center console is also serves as the back of the middle front seat.

OK so now that I see there are tons of brand new lids for sale on eBay, rockauto carries them as a replacement, and a DIY youtube that shows how easy it is, am I wrong to conclude that broken hinges are typical and it's probably a waste of my time to hit a UPullandPay?
