Car won't start

Hi there,

I have a problem.
Sometimes the car starts without any problem.
Now, after one week it starts. While driving the brake light and abs light in the dash starts to flicker.
Also the gear position light (p,n etc) starts to flicker. If that happens, it wont start again.
But: If I turn the key, brake light pops on again and the a little klick noise also comes.

I replaced the ingnition switch cable unit without any change.

Any ideas?

Does the starter energize and turn the engine so it sounds like it is trying to start or does it seem the same as when there is a dead battery?

I found the mistake... it was a ground cable which was not fixed in a proper way. No all is fine again!
