Is it possible to bypass the Passlock system on a 2002 Yukon XL? I have had the security light coming on and not starting problems for a while. I posted another post earlier with the exact problems. Can anyone help???

You'll have to learn the resistance code that is in the key cylinder. There is a part made by Directed Electronics that is normally used to temporarily bypass the Passlock system for use with remote start systems. You can use this part to bypass the factory system, but it will have to be wired a little differently than if adding a remote start. I would leave it to a professional install shop to have it wired. If you can't find anyone who knows how or what you are talking about, let me know and I will try to draw out a diagram for you to show them. The part is 457G.

If you would, can you please draw me the diagram. I am so tired of fighting this thing.
