bumping your timing.........

i have a stock 95 yukon gt with intake and dumped flowmaster. can i bump the timing. if i did bump it would i have o run 93 octane. need to know asap thanks.what little thing that can make me go faster without spending any money. lol

I don't think you will have to worry about 93 octane with the stock compression. It can't be over 10 to 1.

I'm curious, how are you going to change the timing? Are you going to change the program in the ECM?

i dont know how i will. i do have a distributer though.

I ran my 95 model on 8 degrees and it did great....... gives it some pep on the low end as well... on 87 octane...
