Broken Speedo

My speedometer was reading 180mph at red lights and now its just sitting all the way to the right. I have always had older cars and replaced the entire cluster. Now that it's a digital deal what exactly do i need to replace if not the entire thing?

check with the dealer for a recall, alot of people have been having trouble with there 03+ fullsize GM's, my friend has a 03 sierra Z71 and he had his recalled, his rpm needle would keep sticking
