Break-In for 4x4

I was wondering if there is any particular protocal for breaking in the 4-wheel drive system in my Tahoe. If there is I would like to do things properly before the Wisconsin winter weather hits.

I would refer to the owners manual, but I don't think it would be any different than a 2WD.
