Any advice on some damn good brake pads for towing. It's time for me to replace my brakes anyway, the rotors have been turned twice already on the front, and I have never replaced the rear drums. 134K on my 99 2DR. I'm about to tow my camper from AK to NC and need to upgrade the front. I've heard to stay away from ceramic due to overheating, any truth to that? Advice appreciated.

Check out Hawk Performance's pads. They make great pads for all types of applications. Their Severe/Super Duty line of pads are for heavy fleet trucks and towing.
From my understanding, ceramic pads don't dissipate heat as quickly simply due to the nature of the ceramic material. If pads don't cool quickly enough and the brakes are continually applied under heavy loads such as towing, you'll start to experience brake fade.
