Hi all,
I've found a lot of helpful information on here in the past, but now I'm running into an issue I haven't been able to get answered. I have a 2003 Tahoe with adjustable pedals, when I turn the headlights on, all 3 of the brake lights come on and stay on. It won't change to the normal tail lights. When I turn the headlights off, brake lights work perfectly. I've replaced the brake light switch to be on the safe side which didn't help, but I noticed when I move the switch a little with my hands the lights will go off, almost as if the actuator is pushing on the switch in resting position, but again only with the headlights on. I've also tried a few things, like making sure there aren't any blown fuses, switching the relays for the lights, seeing if the hazard button was stuck, and moving the turn indicator, all to no avail. The only thing that I know I'm going to be doing is disabling the automatic lights with a resistor because that sensor is burnt out, but I wouldn't think that would lead to an issue with the brake lights staying on. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Joe
