Hey guys...
About two months ago, I had the master cylinder and brake booster on my '95 5.7 TBI replaced with new NAPA parts. The mechanic that worked on it told me that the ABS module was shot, but it would be OK to drive anyway as it would very expensive to replace.
Well, the brakes worked much better after the repair, but about 1000 miles ago, every time it rains or there is water on the road, the brakes lock up when I slow down for traffic or at a stop sign. There is a significant pulsation with the brake pedal and it seems that the truck pulls hard to the right as it happens. I almost T-boned a Georgia State Trooper today as we had a major storm here in North Georgia. (would not have been good!!!)
This problem never occurs when it is sunny and dry outside.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
John
