Hey im planning on painting the bowties some day this week but i just want to clear some things. When removing the back tail bow tie what most people recomend doing is heating it up with a hair dryer then using a credit card to unstick it but my question is , by doing that what part of the bowtiw would it come off the hole bowtie or just the golden middle bowtie???????? And the front bowtie will be taken off by 2 10mm screws by unsrewin them only the golden part will come of..?right? which double sisded tape size do u recomendme using to stick the bak tail bowtie?????? I just want some one to help me be clear with what I need to do .

Rear Bowtie
Heating it up via a heat gun (be careful) or blowdryer is recommended by some and you slide the credit card/dental floss/or some other gentle but thin piece under neath the gold part. The chrome part does not come off (but once you remove the gold you will see the chrome bowtie).

Front Bowtie
I was a bit confused myself about the front because I did remove the screws, yet am having some difficulty popping the bowtie out. But yes, only the gold part of the bowtie will come out.

As for double sided tape, I'm not 100% certain but I'd assume 3M would be fine.
