i have new front and rear chrome bowties. can anyone tell me how to switch out. also how to take the emblems off. is there sticky stuff when you remove them if so how do you get it off.

i have new front and rear chrome bowties. can anyone tell me how to switch out. also how to take the emblems off. is there sticky stuff when you remove them if so how do you get it off.

For the front one there are 2 10mm nuts to remove behind the grill. For the rear one you need a heat gun/blow dryer to heat it up and then you need to slide fishing line in/out like a sawing motion to get it off.

For the badges you can heat them as well and use fishing line. Goo gone works to take off the "sticky" stuff.

If you just take off the gold portion on the rear bowtie, there's a chrome bowtie left. :yesnod:
