So here we go....my blower motor just up and stopped about a week ago, after some searching it seemed it was the resistor (plus my truck has the climate control in it) I took out the resistor and it seems to have gotten wet and shorted out and or corroded.I got a new one and installed it with no problem, drove my truck and everything seemed fine.On my way to work this am and all was fine, until it stopped again.(blower) After about 30 seconds it came back on for a minute or so then back off.Now it cycles and when it does cycle,I have no control over the speed,it's just full on high.I have a 2004 Z71 with climate control.....any insight would be much appreciated. Thanks

Does it work in any speed? If not you may have a bad blower or connection to it

!

It did breifly, but then it stopped all together. After going thru it and checking everything,I think the blower was going bad also, and the new part did'nt help.I get power to the blower and it tries to start but will not, hence I think i do in fact have a bad blower.
