Hey Guys,

Just wanted to let the SoCal guys know that Justin from BlackBear Performance is going to be out this way in May to do in-person custom tunes:

Justin will be out in Southern California/Temecula area May 2-4 to do some tuning.
If interested, please post up in this thread or email [email protected] with "SoCal Tune" in the subject line of the email so that he can schedule things up. There will be two types of tuning available, street and full dyno (load bearing Dyno Dynamics). The dyno tune will also include transmission tuning on the street.

The street only tune will be $200 and is based on tunes previously developed on the dyno. Dyno tuning will be $300 and will result in a tune that has been maximized at all load points from 1200rpm to 3600rpm on a steady state dyno (eg, I hold the vehicle at a particular speed and load and adjust the tune until no more gains can occur). The tune will be followed up on the street to be sure that transmission and drivability is as expected.

He can tune 98-08 vehicles in person, so don't be afraid to bring an 07+ tahoe/suburban/silverado.

F-bodies, Vettes, GTOs, CTS-V, Trailblazers can all be tuned as well.

I'm already on the list for a tune, and from everything i've seen, they are WELL worth the money. Have yet to see any negative feedback on these tunes.

What exactly does this tuning do for your truck? Also what do they do to the tranny?
