looking at the site it seems REALLY REALLY cool. I wanna buy this 04 sierra denali ( i just need my freakin jeep to sell though) and its got the 6.0 and i would LOVE to get it tuned. But I have some questions... Im not real computer savvy so what does all the computer talk beam, Whats a PCM, or the tech cord thingy.

Ok tune questions now. The website says it removes 70-80% of torque management, will this hurt a tranny, will i notice much better throttle respose off the line??

Also, what does a black bear tune do really. I want more power and torque of the this thing, and im willing to go the full 93 octane tune. IF I know i will notice a power gane.

I like the fact that justin is in alexandra va, about a three and a half hour drive for me, but it sounds like its worth it...

thanks alot guys...

PM Jenna or Justin with any questions, they will be more than happy to clarify some of the questions you have or use the SEARCH function as this has been discussed at great length

Essentially, you have 3 different options: traditional tune, cable tune, or you can come up here for an in-person tune.

This is how they break down:

With the traditional tune, you provide your VIN, answer a set of questions and we will mail out a tuned PCM to you.

With the scan cable tune, you pay a security deposit and we ship out a cable that you use to collect data from your vehicle as you drive. That data is then emailed in to us to be analyzed. In some cases, the data will show a mechanical condition that needs to be corrected before the tuning process can proceed. If this is the case, we'll do our best to help you determine the cause of the problem so that your tune will perform as well as it possibly can. Once all problems are squared away, we'll then build a tune for you based on that data and ship a tuned PCM out to you. You'll then use the scan cable to perform a crank relearn procedure and create a final log with the new PCM in place. The scan cable is then returned for a refund of your security deposit.

You will need a laptop for the cable tune, and the instructions are pretty straight forward, we have had people do this that hardly use a computer at all.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

I hate my jeep and i want it gone, as i was gunna buy a pickup truck when i had the cash, but bought the jeep insted, i rushed in to it and this is a live and learn type thing. Now if my dang jeep would sell i would go get the truck today. I may still go buy it one day and then when the jeep sells, it sells.

O yea, jenna bear, thanks for all the help. The cable one where i hook it up and send it back to you sounds like the most accurate option.
