Looking to replace my old 97 Tahoe with a 2007-2014 model. My mechanic told me that I should pick one 2011 or newer - something about the design of the engine from 2007 - 2011 that has a common failure that takes many hours labor to repair. Sorry, don't remember the specifics. Has anyone hear this? Any suggestions? Thanks.
