Barely see shift selector

Anybody know why I can barely see my shift selector? The other dash lights work fine, and adjust with the dome light control. Not the shift selector.

I have a 2005 Tahoe Z71.

Thats usually the first signs of it that is come time to rebuild it. Sent it out and have it done for less then 150 thats what i did with mine and it nice and bright with new stepper motors and all

Cluster is going south. Speedo going nuts will be next.
