While driving home from work back in 2007, a brand new model Tahoe drove past me and I was like WOW, I need to have one of those. The following weekend I picked up a loaded LTZ. It was one of my favorite vehicles. I ended up trading it in for a Sierra in 2010 with only 55,xxx miles. I've always wanted another one after owning many other vehicles in between then and now.
A couple weekends ago I finally decided to get back into another one. In Chicago, there's a few dealers that sell used police vehicles. I found a 2008 that was in pretty decent shape, as well as a good runner. It doesn't have the options like my old LTZ, but still looks sharp and drives fantastic.
I'm sure the forum is loaded with information about these specific versions of the Tahoe. Hopefully I'll be able to obtain some sources for parts I'm looking for (especially a center console).
