auto mirror dimming dims on and off

I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this problem. At night upon start up off my 07 tahoe the mirror dims automatically. It turns to the greenish/bluish color when it dims. Well this only last for like a minute or so and then this color goes off and the mirror looks like if its not dimming. Then a couple minutes later the mirror turns to that greenish color again, in other words it dims. This is on and off. I was wondering if anyone else is having this issue.

If this is going on while your standing still with no one behind you it may be a problem. These mirrors are supposed to be activated by the reflection of the lights in the mirror while your driving. I believe it will change accordingly. I dont have this problem with mine.

I did noitice the other night that my passenger side on my 07 Yukon XL changed to a bluish color while my drivers side did not change.

07 tahoes do not have the dimming mirror function for the passenger side mirror. I guess it turns off when there is no direct headlight glare around you. Just want to know if other tahoe owners experience the same thing or is it on all the time at night. My mom has an 03 escalade and at night both her mirrors are dimming regarding if there are no other cars around.
