Hello my name is Joseph, I have a 07 Tahoe we have had for over a year and recently had the alternator replaced, today we tried to start it after sitting for over four hours it would only click, interiors and headlights were dim, but the alternator itself was hot to the touch while the motor was cold. Suggestions on where to start and if that is common for the alternator to get hot like that without it running, thank you
