not all the time, and its been 2 alternators, and the noise changes pitch sometimes. but its not a bearing issue. it sounds like theres a rectifier or something screaming inside the alt. the truck has done this in some fashion since i got it. the last alt. i bought was an escalde unit w 200 amp at 1200 rpm. anyone experienced this? what do i do? it ruined my last alt. i dont want to do thae same thing to this one
