I've put the deposit down on an 07 black on black LTZ 4x4. I'm really excited to finally join the club! The vehicle basically has everything except the chrome pkg, rear seat entertainment, and power steps. I'll be adding the chrome and entertainment shortly (already ordered all the chrome!). I think I got a good deal - only 7K miles and got it for $36,900. Oh well - if I didn't, don't rain on my parade! :thumbsup:

I'll be picking it up Thursday - look forward to talking mods with you all later.

Yeah, I think he said it had 7K miles on it, still pretty new; at least you can still get buzzed on that leather smell! :crazy:

Hey everyone - thanks so much for the congratulations. You're right, I've pretty much been driving, staring, caressing, drooling, etc. since I got her - not to mention the fact I picked it up in Michigan and had to drive it back to Orlando! :crazy:

This vehicle is awesome - I feel lucky to have it. Only one disappointment thus far - the gas mileage. I had hoped to get 20+ on the highway but only averaged 18.0 on an 1100 mile trek. That's certainly much lower than advertised. It has me considering the Volant intake - anyone seen big gains with that?

Anyway - I've attached a few pics. It's my first attemt so hopefully I did this right. Next up - Putco chrome covers for the door handles, lower mirror covers, and grille. Then some sort of aftermarket DVD - I'm leaning toward headrests.

Why drive?

Why go all the way to Michigan you ask? For starters, I'm very particular. I wanted black on black with some very specific options so that limited my options right there. I also wanted less than 10K miles. Of the ones I saw that fit my requirements, most were $40K and slightly above. This one was $36,900. I was willing to spend $85 on the airline ticket, $130 in gas (the dealer provided the first full tank), and $50 on the hotel to save a few thousand bucks.

The manager of the dealership even came to me while I was signing and said he received more calls on this vehicle than he's ever gotten on any other vehicle in their inventory. The day I picked it up, a Chevy dealer from Ohio offered to pay his asking price and pick it up that day. He admitted he had underpriced it but was good natured about it and congratulated me on benefitting from his error. :clapping: I didn't get the impression he was just being a salesman but who knows, that is his job afterall.
