I just installed the Airaid Jr. on my 08 Burban today which I purchase from Jennabear. The istalation is staright forward and takes about 15-20 minutes. Too bad I did not recieve it before my drive out to the Grand Cayon. I guess that OK because now I have a good idea of my MPG on the Hyw which was 18 before any mods. I purchase the Jr because I have some serious doubts that the CAi kit are really an improvement over the stock airbox. If you look at some kits that have an enclosed box they tend to have a larger opening towards the fender, but on the side of the fender you only have two hole in the shhet metal to feed the air box which are the same size as the OE unit. I also don't believe in the cone filter with a heat shield because I still think heat soaks through. Any way I think the real restriction is in the oe tube with all of thoes mufflers. Well after my short drive to and from work I have to say that the Jr. kit does give the a mean intake sound. The stock intake mufflers really does muffler intake noise. It sounds like you hit the secondaries of a Q-Jet or Holley. It has a mean groan to it. I can't really tell if there is a power difference, but it feels like there is more throttle response in the midrange. Overall for just $125 I think its worth it just for the lifetime filter and some extra engine sound.

I'll post one later, but the system is just the same tube that is used in the airaid system hooked up to the stock air box.
