air bag light

I have 95 tahoe and I have noticed that once in a while the air bag light will flash then the next time its not, I once thought that I was not waiting long enough for system to do a check of some sort then I noticed my friend never waits he just starts and goes and his dont do this has anyone seen or herd of this? Thanks for any help.

Try to unplug both yellow connectors, truck off, and spray some electric contact cleaner in there. There might be some corrosion on the connections.

thanks sepiroth for the reply I actually was going to da that and actually check the sensors to see if they are loose and the wires etc, you know the basics and go from there. Thanks again for the reply.
