Ok I bought a Volant intake and TB spacer. I was wondering if I buy a aftermarket MAF will it make a difference? If not how about after I get a blackbear tune?....

I would stick with the stock MAF, we have noticed some issues when people go to aftermarket MAFs and it is hit or miss with no big gains. What year is your vehicle? If it is 00+ I would return the TB Spacer.

In general aftermarket MAFs don't add anything but they can make tuning more difficult.
TB spacers are snake oil. Back in the day (with carbs) a spacer added volume to the plenum. With the increased volume of the composite intakes the TB spacer adds marginally (<1%) increase.

Here is the other thread where it is talked about.....

And my response:
TB spacers will work well on wet intakes, ones where the fuel is sprayed before or at the throttle body/carb allows more time for atomization. In the case of a vortec engine, they are dry intakes so throttle body just allows air in and fuel happens at the head. In addition to better wet atomization a greater velocity can be achieved.
