AFM problems

I have a 07 tahoe with afm got a code for misfire number 4 intake valve would work on start up and about 4 revolution into running it closes I replaced all afm lifters and the solenoids under the intake anyone else run into this problem and know what to fix

From what I've read, there is a replacement lifter that is supposed to somehow deactivate the AFM mode on these motors. I'd have to do some more research to give specifics but you can do the same. Not sure what I'm going to do when the time comes. I'm looking into some sort of electronic solution to deactivate it through the ECU right now. Good luck.

I'm having the same issue.. Tahoe at the dealer now so any info would be great . I have a tough time be leaving there's a lifter problem because the problem is so intermittent it will run fine some days and terrible other days .. Help please !!
