Hey guys,

Summer time finally came around and I have some time to work on my truck. I have 3 main problems.

Note: I have checked all the obvious fuses for these problems.

1. Turn Signals: The turn signals work, except when i turn them off sometimes the flasher continues to click. The lights are not blinking, but the flasher is making noise. I have replaced the flasher.

2. The interior dome/map lights do not work, and neither does the garage door opener. All the fuses are there, they just wont turn on.

3. Also this one seems easier but when the heater/AC is on then I can hear a noise coming from the fan. I can smack it and make it disappear sometimes, but cannot for the life of me figure out how to access the blower.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Aidan

#3 Blower is under dash on passenger side, gotta remove some panneling and stuff, but it does come out.

#2 Depending upon year I would start checking grounds, pull cover off dome lamp and use a testlight to check for power, check for ground.

#1 Bad multifunction switch....

Check for 12v @ lamp sockets orange wire, hot at all times.

Check for Ground at White wire back of dimmer switch when lights should be on (this can be tested from the other side of the lamp socket.)

I suspect the orange wire is dead (no 12v since the White feed wire is originally off the door pin switches or supplied by the dimmer switch. (Should be 2 White wires off the switch according to my schematic, but it is for an older model.)

If all else fails, go to www.autozone.com and sign up/ sign in and look up a repair guide for your rig and should be some good wiring diagrams in there, all for free......

Found the wiring diagrams, but am not sure what to look for. I'm pretty new to car electricals and am not totally sure what to be checking for.
