I just looked at my haynes manual and I didn't get the info from there. If you do a search you'll find that you have to take the dash out. HA HA I didn't. I removed the screws on the bottom of the heater core, don't remember how many but there was more then 6. And at least 2-4 were kind of tough to get to. I used a socket set like this one. http://compare.ebay.com/like/220925177977?_lwgsi=y&ltyp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar and a flat and philips screwdrivers.
First you'll need to drain the radiator. Once you get the bottom cover down you should see the heater core. I believe the it's held in by one or two screws. Remove or loosen them. Then remove the heater core. Now you should have some more screws if you didn't remove all of them. The tough screws are in the back toward the firewall. I think the is 2. Just feel around. They are pretty much in line with the screws in the front. Once you get that cover loose, Don't remove it, if you do then you'll probably have to take the dash apart to align it the right way. You should see the evap core. If you can or already did. Cut the evap core line that bolts to the accumulator. Makes it easier to come out. Pull down on the cover just enough to give you room to get the evap core out. Anymore then that may break it. You'll probably notice alot of stuff on the other side of the evap core. Try to reuse the screen. Helps keep the core clean. A diagram from the dealer my help. Hopefully this helps. The glove box needs to come out to give you room.
