A/C Compressor will not engage

Sometimes my air blows cold and sometimes it does not. I have realized that sometimes the compressor engages and sometimes it does not. I don't know if this is a problem in the controller panel inside or something else.

Does anyone have an idea on a solution?

Have you checked the freon/pressure levels.
