I just bought this tahoe has 38k original miles pretty much mint condition. Only problem is when the A/C is on max and recirculate the air makes the loud blowing noise but no air is really coming out of the vents, its barely blowing.

Then when you turn recirculate off and take it down one notch below MAX, the air blows harder but not as cold.

A gentlemen at the chevy dealership said it may be one of many problems or several and off the top of his head he said it might be a actulator fan not closing. or some kind of fan not doing something.

Anyway the only problems i have deal with the A/C, the wind sheild wipers dont work all the time, and one of the keyless entry clickers doesnt work and the one that does only works within about 10 feet.

So i am basically looking for any advice from anyone who has dealt with any of these similar problems or may know how to approach any of these problems, but the A/C is my main concern cause it 105* in TX.

Thank you

mine blows fine but after it's on for 1hr or 2 it seems the door is closed inside the
housing then it will blow out the floor vents even when turning the knob on different

settings i think my problem is the dash control.

Don't be surprised by the keyless clicker, a lot of them were junk from the start. My tahoe is a 99' also and the lock works, unlock works so seldom that I finally just gave up on it. My failed attempts to fix it included: New battery, cleaned the circuit board with trichl, reprogrammed with truck circuit, cleaned the circuit board with rubbing alchahol, putting it in the freezer, smacking it around, letting the dog chew on it.

yeah i think when it goes out im just gonna get an aftermarket keyless entry with remote start. but my main consern is the a/c cause they tend to be expensive.
