This thing has been messing with me pretty bad. It only gets fuel when it wants to. Pump kicks on. Filter is new. i get fuel at the filter. Something is stopping it from going to throttle body. Hit it with ether and it fires up. Any ideas? No check engine light.

Hit it with ether and it starts and dies or starts and keeps running? Cannot keep running unless it is getting fuel to throttle body. How did you determine that it is not getting fuel to throttle body?

I hit with ether and it fires up and dies. If I hit it with ether and keep it running it will eventually pick up and keep running. After running at an idle for about 15 minutes it just shuts off like I just turned the key off.

When it shuts off like you turned the key off need to check and see if has spark or not to determine what it is losing at that point. Need to know the fuel pressure also.

Ok I know how to check for spark. Where do I check fuel pressure? I can't find a place to check?

Under the upper cover there is a fuel rail that feeds the injectors with a schrader valve where the fuel pressure tester gauge can be attached. You want to see pressure when the key is on but engine is off. If not then the pressure is bleeding off. the fuel pressure should be 55-60 psi and 60-66 psi running and hold the pressure when shut engine off.
