99 2 door 454/4l80E swap, anyone done this?

I've got a 99 2 door Tahoe 4X4, and have gotten my hands on a 99 K2500 Suburban. I know the motor and tranny are both in great running condition. The 4L60E in my Tahoe is going out, and I figured that since I have the 4L80E, along with the big block, is might as well swap both. I know that the motor will fit as long as I transfer the mounts from the 'Burban, but from what I understand the 4L80e is a bit longer than the 60. Will it fit? And is it even worth it? I've been told that a 4L65E can be swapped straight up with the 60, would this be smarter? I'm sorry there are so many questions and that it's such a long paragraph, any help appreciated!

You will have to do some electrical/ wiring/ computer swapping..... and misc other.....

Yea I was gonna swap the ECU/wiring harness and all but I think I might have to swap the mounting bracket too, as well as shorten my driveshaft, I was just hoping to get some feedback from someone who might have done this already haha I guess we'll see, thanks
