97 two door fog dash light

So i have been having issues with my Fog light dash light coming on and off during driving with my headlights on. The dash light will come on for 30 seconds to two minutes and it will shut off. It dosent seem to be triggered by bumps. when this fog light comes on i am unable to activate my brights.On my twenty min commute to work it prob comes on three to for times during commute. I pulled into my driveway and it came on, I hopped out and looked and front and back of the truck and none of the lights are affected? any suggestions im stumped...

Is your fog light indicator Green by chance? If so that is the DRL indicator, so you would want to look into the DRL module/ etc....

indeed it is green. I have looked into replacement mods and they are not easy to find. o'rielly is the only place i found them at. any suggestions where to get them?

Green is DRL (Daytime Running Lamps), check out Petes issues with this (he has a video of his going schitzo.....
