Yes, you read that correctly. The sucker ejected at 65mph. Never did find it. Luckily, it stopped raining the rest of the day and was just cold. Oh, the inner curtain ejected, too. We did find it on the way back. It was in the other lane, on the side of the road, in a bush you get the picture...

Its a monumental piece of crap, my Tahoe. But it's MY monumental piece of crap and its paid for. I'm not interested nor in a position to replace it.

I hear there are kits you can buy to "plug" the hole. Anyone know where I might find one of those mystery kits?

Here in Oregon I dealt with the motorhome industry for about 2 years. That's all I could stand from the most whiney people I have ever met. Literally a PITA group of people. But anyways, there is this tape used in roof leak emergencies called Eternabond tape that will seal the hole and will not leak if applied correctly till you can find a patch kit.

By the way, that glass section that blew out is out there to be found, it is just in a million pieces! Good luck with that. I was hauling a display case for a friend one time in the back of my pickup. Down the highway. He forgot to remove the top section of glass like he said he would. All of a sudden I happened to be looking in my rear view mirror and I saw what looked like a clear UFO floating above the highway. It was that section of glass and I saw it hit the pavement. It went all directions. Damn funny!!!!!!!!!!

Raiderron, currently I am using a contractor's trash bag held in place by Gorilla tape. Damn fine stuff if you ask me! It's not attractive but it certainly works!

I saw someone else using the aluminum backed wide tape they use in HVAC installation. He said it had been on there over a year. Quite impressive for a "WV Kwik Fix". LOL

More than the tape and trash bag. LOL!

True dat... but you are gonna want a more permanant fix and probably a fill kit will cost as much as a new sheet of glass, I assume....
