97 GMC Yukon Gages/Cluster help?!
Hello all, just wondering if any of you could give me some words of wisdom to help remedy my problem.
I have a 97 Yukon that had fuel pump / gas tank / sending unit problem witch caused my gas gage to be stuck in one place. After replacing all of those things, the gas gage is now stuck upside down and does not move when you turn the key.
So I bought a used cluster and put it in, the gas gage actually moves now.
But..when I turn the key off it goes to 1/4 tank, but when I turn the ignition on, it now jumps around like mad, I put $20 in fuel
because it was floating around empty since there was barely anything in the tank after running out of gas lol
it went up to about 1/4 but still jumps around like crazy, I know this is a problem with these trucks,
but if I get a brand new tach is it going to make a difference or do the same thing?
Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks again!
