96 Yukon air direction

I have a 96 yukon that no matter what position I put the vent selector dial it only blows at my feet.....everything works fine...heater....a/c....blower motor....it just always blows at my feet.

I had the same prob last week. Sucked!!!! Cant really tell you word for word but just right and up of the gas pedal there was a cable I pulled on to change the vent direction. It was going from defrost to floor only. I laid in the floorboard and switched the switch back and forth till I fould the vent flap then just pulled on that cable. Like it was just stuck. Works great now. Sorry for the poor info but I sorta found it by dumb luck and not sure what to call all that stuff.
