New to forum, just bought a Tahoe today for the sole purpose of having a project for the winter. This is the first car I'll be actually modding (besides radio upgrades back up cam install etc. on my 2012 Chrysler 200), I have done quite a few street bikes in the past. My rough plans are as follows, if you are able to assist with any wisdom or knowledge in my pursuit of following goals please do so. I am here to learn, gather new ideas, search for help, and ask for it when I can't find it in old threads…..
GOAL:
-Modify 1995 Chevy Tahoe into a totally unique customized vehicle that I can use as my chariot whilst driving around the mean streets of Chicago this summer.
Methods:
-Return car physically to functional vehicle (fix doors, tires/rims, replace bulbs, fuses, etc.)
-Clean up undercarriage and frame of excess rust and grime
-Upgrade suspension for optimal street performance
-Cut/remove part of roof and add canvas tie downs to body panels for soft top secures.
-HIDs
-Custom LED interior lighting accents
-Customized Passanger seats
-Custom Diamond Plate Accents and passenger area flooring
Well that's me I guess. Any tips/ input on any of the above (for example, best go to for rims and tires for street performance) please feel free to reply or PM me at any time. And if I'm using bad etiquette in forum in anyways please let me know, don't want to ruffle feathers.
