95 tahoe idle/miss problem someone HELP!

i have a 95 tahoe with the 5.7 350. every since i go it 4 years ago it has had a rough idle/miss. i have replaced map sencer, complete distributor, plugs wires, has all new fuel system except injectors. check light is on now due to egr but still cant locate whats causing the rough idle/miss and when it idles smells rich and sometimes it will die when idleing even when in gear. all 5 Shops ive tooken it to has scrached their heads. has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you fix it. :sad72:

Check the TBI base gasket, and replace the EGR if that looks good. Use an OEM EGR if it has an aftermarket EGR on it, that is probably the issue...
