My 95 2dr 4wd SES light comes on periodically when driving around 45mph+. Previous owner tried telling me it was a wheel speed sensor???...... Problem is when I stop and shut off truck, it resets and is off. Until I get up to that speed range again. So its tough to diagnose the SES problem... I can't plug jumper into harness to get codes. Truck runs fine though, so I'm kind of at a loss. Any help folks? Thanks.

Yeah, I know how to get codes. My issue is when I get home or wherever, shut truck off and SES light resets and goes away. So I can't get codes...... when I turn key on its normal.

Ok, so I checked my codes today. It was a code 32, EGR circuit. What avenue should I take to tackle this issue? The truck runs fine, I have no issues. Although I do need to fix exhaust leak at muffler. Pao did a poor job of putting in a new turbo muffler.

Fix exhaust leak, check for vacume leaks (especially at TBI base gasket), EGR solenoid, then if the EGR needs to be replaced use an OEM AC Delco or Delphi part not a parts store generic.... been down that road too many times on a GM engine...
