questions is pretty straight foward im looking to get a RCD 6" lift w/ 35" tires ive been hearing mixed feelings on the MPG (miles per gallon) some people (who arent GM owners) are saying that ill regrete lifting my 2004 tahoe if im concerned about gas but everyone for the most part that own lifted GM vehicals say that they are getting roughly the same MPG as they were when their suspension was stock. jus looking for more thoughts. thanks

Back when I had lifted silverados the MPG didn't stay the same as stock. You will loose MPG when lifting because the added weight of the tires, off road tire tread, suspension weight, etc.

i dont know from on the GMs. but i had a jeep and lifted it... the lift didnt do much (mpg went down a little) but when i put the BFG's on the mpgs went DOWN.... the huge tires did it to me...

with all of that being said could i gain most of my stock MPG back if i were to do a full intake kit full exhust redue the gearing and a programer ...............thanks for all of the help

Yeah, the lift isn't what kills it (it may effect it, but not much) it's the added rolling resistance that effects it.
