6.2 L Question

Has anyone figured out how to get the 380 HP Denalie engine to produce 402 HP as in the Escalade? I understand its the same engine with a different tune.

don't know about the 6.2, but on the 6.0 it was different pistons that made the compression 10.1 instead of 9.whatever. the escalade had domed pistons instead of dished ones.

FYI, the 2007 Caddy is also a bit heavier than the 2007 Denali. Maybe that's why there's a bit more horses. From 0-60 the Denali was quicker in tests.

The 2009's have about the same specs.

the 2009's do have the same tune spec as the 2007-09 Caddy. The 2009 weights a little more too.

I wonder if the dealer service centers are adjusting the tunes on the 2007 & 2008 models when u to in for service?(to 09 specs) maybe not?
