Can the second row bench seat be easily swaped out for captains chairs and if so where can I buy the captains chairs?

yes you can, no modification, all bolt on. Ebay has them listed for 1400 a pair, just search tahoe 2nd row and look for the new style.

You could also get them possibly cheaper from a local salvage dealer. Check online and phone book to see whos local.

i also heard about other people willing to trade captain chairs for a bench , put an ad in the forum or the internet you have nothing to lose anyway.some tahoe owners have more need for a bench
