I have a 2002 Tahoe and got some 305/40/22 Pirelli Scorpion Zero meats on it but I'm lookin to switch to a more all-terrain type tire without having to get a lift kit.

I'm not experiencing any sort of rubbing with this size tire. What I'm looking to get into are some 285/50/22 Nitto Terra Grapplers. Is anyone out there currently running these? Can someone tell me if these will fit without rubbing? Would a leveling kit help at all? Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

Crunching the numbers... you'll have just about 1.5" difference between the two tires (33.22in vs. 31.61in) total height.... which that means only about .75" on each side (so, it will only extend to the wheelwell another 3/4").... you'll be shrinking the width of the tire by about 1"... I would measure it to see....

Thanks for the info!

Does anyone out there have pics with this size or close to this size tire on their ride they can share?

Depending on the offset they should fit, might need a bit of tbar crank if they rub but you should be ok. I'd lower it a bit and run some 285/45/22.

I have 33x12.5-17 on mine...I did crank the front a little. I don't have a problem in the front but the rears rub a little if I get a little too much flex in the back.
